On Thursday, pupils in Year 5 were treated to a presentation by ENT Consultant, Mr Kuo.
The girls had very much enjoyed learning about hearing and ear care as part of their Science lessons so the talk was a great opportunity to learn more. Mr Kuo had many fascinating facts and animations of the ear to present, including a simulation of the anatomy of the ear. Towards the end of the talk, there was a chance for the girls to ask Mr Kuo questions about the work he does both in the UK and abroad.
We were also proud to present some hearing and ear care leaflets the Year 5 girls had researched and made in class. Mr Kuo was so impressed with the work that he will be displaying the leaflets in his clinic at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The visit was an inspiring experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Mr Kuo for taking the time to talk to our girls.
